Description:The Sullivan Hole is one of the harder play spots to catch in, but when it's there, it's hard to beat. Sullivan Hole is created by a mid-stream boulder and isn't really like a ledge hole or a foam pile, but something all together different. At the right level, you can throw ends left or right and split it up both ways. Side surfing is smooth and easy and if you window shade, you will come right out. If you do end up swimming, you have about 400 - 500 yards of moving water to collect yourself. Sullivan Hole is eddy accessed and gets great sun light all day. See you there!!!
Location:Travel 18.5 miles West of Coeur d'Alene Idaho on I-90. Exit the highway at Barker Rd. (exit #293) and turn North. On Barker Rd., go 1/4 mile North to Mission and turn West. Head West on Mission for 1 1/4 miles, crossing Flora and park at the Centennial Trail Head. Sullivan Hole can be found by hiking upstream on the Centennial Trail 200 yards.
