Both the Palouse and Hangman (Latah) are pretty
muddy, but they're really worth it when they're
up. The Palouse has 3 nice runnable drops, though 
I've only run the first 2. The 3rd is right above 
Main Palouse Falls (185 feet!), and if you miss
the eddy at the bottom you could get swept into
the chute and over the big one. Anyway, it's a
fun Class III trip through an interesting basalt
gorge.

Unfortunately, I can only go Saturday this
weekend :-( Let me know if you can make it and we 
can figure out how to hook up. Otherwise - maybe
next weekend? Sundays are usually OK for me.

  I'd be down for any of that this 
Sunday or Monday (I've never run the 
Palouse, it looks too dirty, or 
Hangman's).  I haven't boated for 
weeks, and don't think I've run a river 
in months (tried to go to the kootenai 
on Monday but we had to turn around 
because of the blizzard).   By all 
means get ahold of me if you decide 
to go somewhere.
