Jay,
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I, along wiht
many in the paddling community are sorry to see
the shop close down.
The paddling, gear, friendships, level of
paddlers, etc., have all been greatly improved by 
the addition of Otter Sports.
This forum has shared many an experience, helped
others, and it will be missed if it shuts down as 
well.
